Nick_and_Karen Nick & Karen qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in ’96 & ’97 respectively. Nick worked in mixed practice in Somerset for two years after qualifying before enjoying stints as a locum in various parts of the UK, interspersed with travelling to Australia.

There followed a short period in the pet food industry before joining the Oundle practice in 2001, prior to buying the business in 03. Karen worked in mixed practice in Market Harborough before joining Nick in Oundle in 03.

Since then the practice has become highly successful with a huge growth in the number of clients and patients especially on the companion animal side of things. As well as having a young family to keep us on our toes, we look forward to continuing to build the practice’s reputation and success.

Health care for cats and dogs Oundle Veterinary Surgery was established in the 1930’s and has been on its current site in South Road since the 1970’s. The practice was taken over by the husband and wife team of Nick & Karen Park in 2003 and has since undergone extensive refurbishments to ensure the practice can continue to offer the very best possible standards of care and attention to our clients and patients.

The practice is traditionally owned, rather than part of a group or corporate chain and run as very much part of the local community, retaining its friendly and caring approach whilst striving to continue to improve and develop the standards and services offered.

Our aim is to provide a high level of clinical care in a friendly and relaxed environment. Continuity of care is essential to our approach so will we always endeavour to offer you a consultation to see the vet of your choice at a time that suits you.
